What is The Book of Us?

On January 1st this year I decided to start my own blogging project called The Book of Us which is basically an online diary of my family's daily life broken down into chapters which refer to months with a post for each day.
It is similar to the 365 / 366 Project I have done in the past but I think this may be a little more manageable for me as I kept messing up on numbers in the past.
Now with January over it is nice to look back and see all that has happened in Chapter 1. It's been a busy month with back to school, birthdays, ballet, parties, piercings and more.
