I want to know 2 completely different and unrelated things.
ONEWhen a blogger goes on vacation, do you prefer that their blog just takes a vacation too? Or do you like guest posts? I personally, enjoy guest posting and usually like guest posts when there is a theme. Like the worst vacation ever, or the most scandalous vacation. Then I can read a bunch of funny stories all week. I tend to be less entertained by "get to know you" posts. ONLY because you don't actually get to know the blogger, it's like a really rushed version of "come read my blog!" I would love to spotlight some of my favorite blogs, but I would REALLY like to spotlight their writing, which is why I fell in love with them. My question is, while I am gone all week next week, what would you like my blog to be doing?
TWOWhen you're on vacation, do you plan things? I know that Ruthie just took a very awesome vacation to my home town Salt Lake City, and her wonderful husband planned lots of fun things to do while they were here. I usually just go with the flow, and that means doing what the majority wants to do. However this trip there are several things I would like to do, but we have a very large group going and you can only get anywhere by boat. No cars, no walking, just boating. I love that about Powell, but it does mean you have to be a bit more organized with activities if you want to do them. What do you guys do on vacations? Plan or Go with the flow?
