WE WON!!! GO CARDS!!!
It was a continually surprising and completely unbelievable ride, and last night it ended (against all odds) with a World Series victory.
The comeback kids did it and Cardinal Nation got to witness a postseason that seemed improbable (at best) and will not soon be forgotten.
Here at 2WC we’ve given them a week of recognition, but Cardinal Fans everywhere will be celebrating this win and this series for a lot longer.
So as we close our baseball-focused October we’d like to hand out a few thank you’s.

Cardinals–without you this literally wouldn’t have been possible. We may be good at cheering, but we admittedly lack the hand-eye coordination that led to a WORLD SERIES VICTORY!!! Congratulations.
Rally Squirrel and Torty Craig–postseason is not complete without some random mascots. You both proved up to the task and your Twitter accounts will continue to be a source of baseball inspiration (well, Torty’s will), even as we head into the cold (but awesomely victorious) off-season.
Cardinal Nation–stay classy best fans in baseball, you’re all awesome! If we don’t say so ourselves.
