The past two nights have been sleepless ones, with lots of thoughts going through my mind. I’m quite an ambitious person, but with lots of interests it’s hard to know what route to go down. I enjoy writing, taking photographs, maybe even making the odd thing (I’ve never been very artistic but sometimes it can go right). So, I’ve decided to design my own magazine. I started a sketch book with a travel magazine design inside a couple of months back, however I quickly went off that. Not because I didn’t enjoy it, I dream of travelling, however it was just that one subject, and I got bored. So this new magazine, which as of yet doesn’t have a name, will be a lifestyle magazine. It may be arty, it may be simplistic, but I want it to welcome any subject.
If you feel like you want to get involved, have any tips for me, or simply just look forward to seeing what I come up with, get in touch! I’m also eager to have a look at some ‘different’ magazines, ones with a bit of style, to steal inspiration. I want this magazine to be classy and stylish (not in the fashion sense) and to be ‘one to put on the shelf’.
