Dr Seuss's Thing 1 and Thing 2 was the obvious choice for the Twins who love Dr Seuss books. Zoey insisted on adding a tutu to her outfit to girly it up and Snazaroo Brush Pens came in really handy for super speedy face painting before heading out in the snow to school.
Ben is a huge fan of the Night Zookeeper books by Joshua Davidson so dressed up as the Night Zookeeper complete with torch and globe which is in the latest book The Giraffes of Whispering Wood.
A special thanks to all at the Night Zookeeper for the downloadable Zookeeper badges, they responded to me on Twitter yesterday when I mentioned I was making the costume for Ben. It made finalising his costume so much easier. Here is my little Zookeeper getting in character.
One final picture of my crazy kids, they had so much fun before they even got to school. It might be a lot of effort getting costumes sorted for World Book Day but it's worth it on the day.
