As I watch you busily writing in your diary about today's experiences, I feel a sense of pride. I recall how I did that after every trip during my childhood. Your Grandma always encouraged me to write and be as descriptive as possible. Write and read. It is a wonderful way to find yourself and wake your soul as you express yourself with the written word.
In those days we had diaries and notebooks - today writing has become so much easier with technology. I remember being fascinated with your energy and enthusiasm when you started your blog. How you loved to write! Partly, the idea of being published immediately and having the whole world see it was exciting, but to me, it was seeing you become articulate as you grew your vocabulary while getting tech-savvy. Can't help thinking of one of your blogs that received over 3000 views in four days, simply because you were absolutely on topic - it was November and you had written in detail about the story of Sabarimala.
I love listening to your plans of writing and publishing books and I am amazed at how organized you are with those plans. I am sure your Grandma is busy blessing you, wishing you success in all you do.

Did you know I've kept most of your writing work safely? I've seen your handwriting shape up to what it is today. It is such a pleasure to look at those. I know your Dad has stored many of your poems in a folder in his computer. When we suddenly come across something you've written, we're filled with joy, as the memories rush in. Oh, the letters you used to write to your Grandma! She used to love them.
Even now, each time you email me, I feel happy at how well you write.
Never give up on your dreams of writing. I am hoping that you'll resume your blogging again soon - I know the past year has been quite busy for you, leaving not enough time for recreation. Still, I am glad you do find it relaxing to sit quietly with your notebook, choose your favorite pen, and write.
Whether or not we're good writers, it takes courage to put those words out there. Use your talent well - both for yourself and for others.
I am hoping that one day, with all your travel notes, we might even have a lovely travelogue on various places. Be as detailed as possible when you write - sometimes we forget those tiny things that brought incredible joy.
I am particularly happy that you have such an affinity for languages and take the initiative to study them and learn. It is such fun to travel to a place and find that you can read all the signs, as you are doing right now!
