Yes, but It Doesn't Wash Well!

Posted on the 27 April 2012 by Thefatalfemme @The_Fatal_Femme
I was having a ponder earlier about clothes.
I love them. I buy too many of them.
My boyfriends says that my clothes bully his clothes for wardrobe space...
I say, "Get your own wardrobe!"
Apparently, that makes me a bully too.
Well, of course we all love clothes. We'd get arrested without them. Be put on a list. Scuff our birthday suits. It would be mayhem!
Naked mayhem...
Anyway, what was I saying?
Yes. Clothes.
We all have our favorite shops, right? The ones we always go to. "Old reliables" I like to call them.
I was discussing my "Old Reliable" with my friend last night and in exchange, naturally, she told me about hers.
Now this is the bit that perplexed me, she said, "I just love their stuff, cheap and cheerful, but they just don't wash well"
...........
Right.
If you buy something that comes out a turd after its first wash then, by definition, it is not reliable.
Why would you ever buy anything that was not going to wash well?
No matter how much I loved something, if I thought that it may not last the first wash, I wouldn't buy it.
What would be the point?
It would either not wash well or start to ping-pong majorly of BO of the beefiest variety. There is no better of two evils here.
It may come as no surprise to hear that I shan't be shopping there. I generally like to wash my clothes. Smell of roses. Know what I mean?
I'll stick to my "Old Reliable"... that is until I bump into a new one...?
