You've Got to Be in It to Win It

Posted on the 08 August 2013 by Annamoss84 @missanniebean
I reckon everyone at some point has thought about what they’d do if they won the lottery.  Am I wrong? Many of us have clutched hold of our tickets eagerly awaiting our numbers to appear in the hope it may one day change lives for the better. I always thought the genuine reason I haven’t won the lottery is because I actually wouldn’t want to be too extravagant and neither would my other half.  However the other day I was asked what I would do if I won 20k on the National Lottery new loto game, but the more I started to think about it the more I could spend.
I have a few ideas on how we could spend the money but first things first let's set the scene...
The boy and I have just won the lottery You've got to be in it to win it

Firstly I don't know about you but I'd drop everything and disappear on holiday.  Sometimes I forget how lush it is to just go and relax on a beach.  That gorgeous feeling of the sun on your skin or when the ocean kisses your feet.  Depending on how much time we had we may even travel a bit. You've got to be in it to win it I'd probably want to visit somewhere I hadn't before and ditch the normal Canary Islands quick sun fix I would usually do.  Maybe sitting on the beach in Phuket or even going on a simple spa retreat.

You've got to be in it to win it We could potentially plan our dream wedding! We've been together 6 years so who knows when it might happen, and having that money may mean we could really go to town. You've got to be in it to win it We could perhaps afford to start a family.  Something that is a long way down the list at the moment, but we may save a chunk so we could look forward to a healthy family future.  We could make over our new home so it could be a family house.
You've got to be in it to win it Obviously I'd like to always give something back to charity or a cause I'm supportive of.  If I won millions I'd quit my job and volunteer full time, it'd keep me busy but also I'd be doing something to benefit those in need. You've got to be in it to win it I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't shop because I really would.  I don't think I could ever walk into a designer shop and just pay the asking price, I'm such a thrifty shopper I'd still want to be that... but perhaps I may pop into Selfridges and have a quick peak at the handbags! You've got to be in it to win it We'd like to take our friends out or host a big party for everyone we love.  I think treating people will be a big thing for me, having never had lots of money I'd like to make other people happy with little gifts here and there. You've got to be in it to win it Finally we'd make our dog king... well he already thinks he is, but we'd maybe make him a crown so the world knows it too!  Or just treat him to more goodies and maybe a trip to Pet pals to hangout with other four legged friends.
What would you do if you won the National Lottery?  How would you spend the money? What would you do first?  The possibilities are absolutely endless! The beauty is if you did win the prize money its tax free so it can be life changing.
The New Lotto game will go on sale in the Autumn for £2.00 per line, which unlike other games it gives you a number of ways to win more money.  At least 50 people (yes that's right 50) will be guaranteed to win £20,000 each Lotto draw plus if lady luck is insight and the jackpot rolls, the number of raffle winners will be increasing too!
3 is still the magic number because if you match 3 numbers you can now win £25.00 instead of the previous £10.00.  With that sort of money you could go to the cinema, get a manicure at your local beauty salon or even take a friend out for a coffee and catch up.
The only way is up as well because Saturday jackpot and Wednesday jackpots will both increase.  Saturday will grow by around £5 million whilst Wednesday will be around half of that...certainly more reasons to give it a go!
As the saying goes you've got to be in it to win it and in this case that's very true.
Will you be buying a new Lotto game ticket? After creating my list I think I've definitely got to give it a go!
You've got to be in it to win it xoxo
