કાનમાં, નાકમાં,
રૂનાં પૂમડાં;
ઠંડી લાગે એટલે!?
હવે જ્યાં બધું જ ઠંડુંગાર ત્યાં…
બસ, હવે તો યાત્રા અનંતની
જ્યાં;
ન ઋતુ, ન સમય,
ન સંબંધો, ન શ્વાસ-
ઓગળી જવાનું આકાશમાં,
સૂર્યની જેમ!
સ્વજનોનું મૃત્યુ એટલું સહજ-સ્વીકાર્ય નથી રહેતું; યદ્યપિ, રોજબરોજની દિનચર્યા જેટલી જ સહજ અનંત તરફની યાત્રા અકળ, અટલ તેમજ શાશ્વત છે!
