Posted on the 04 May 2011 by Lauramoodley

I already mentioned to you; the Karl Lagerfeld for Coca Cola, limited edition bottles, which the designer has done for the Second year running. BUT what I didnt mention that this time it is a Big Birthday celebration for the Drinks Giant, and they are hosting an exhibition right here in Paris!

The Expo also included; numerous artworks by various artists which featured Coca Cola bottles in more or less obvious ways, A Coke themed 50s Style Diner, many advertising campaigns from the company archives, interactive exhibits and much more! All of which you can go round in about 30 minutes.

Part of the Exhibition was dedicated to recycling  and ABOVE are some of the products made from recycled Coke bottles or cans. I was personally impressed by this Fashion Necklace.

At the End of your tour, there was ofcourse a Coca-cola cafe where you could enjoy a refreshing drink of the worlds best selling drink or from a wide range of other Coke products. In the Boutique you could buy special Edition, collectors packs and designer bottles such as THE ONE ABOVE by Mika and others By Ram-Jam & karl Lagerfeld.

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to buy one for myself, especially at only 1.50€ a pop! which will remained sealed (despite the temptation) and one day be organized on the shelf beside my limited edition Jean Paul Gaultier for Evien bottle.

All this talk has made me thirsty! (subliminal messaging huh?)

xoxo LLM
