Once a year New Yorkers have the privilege of looking at a sea of Dunhill Pipes.
Michael, a star in the World of Dunhill Pipes and the pipe specialist at De La Concha Tobacconist on New York’s 6th Avenue, has been building a Mecca for pipe smokers for years. His passion and knowledge has brought him such outstanding sales success throughout the years that the 101 year old World of Dunhill Pipes will probably have to induct him in their Hall of Fame.
Until that happens they are bringing some 300 finished pieces of briar wood to New York and display them at De La Concha. Yesterday I had the delight of looking at them out side of a cabinet. At least through photography I took some of them home.
