17 Week Bumpdate!

I think I am starting to get a bump!

Ryan noticed it when we went to dinner this weekend. He told me he could definitely tell a difference.

Here is the comparison between 13 weeks and 17 weeks:

Hooray!
So now I am quite positive that belly will really start to poke out over the next couple of weeks. I am still fluctuating around a 6 pound weight gain. That's good because now I fall in the healthy range for how much weight I should have gained by this point. This puts me on track to be at 9-10 pounds by 20 weeks, which is great for halfway through. I can't believe the baby will double in weight over the next three weeks.

Besides the big bump news, there wasn't a ton of happenings this week. I was feeling nauseous again and I think I am more tired. We got to go out to dinner with some friends on Saturday.

I haven't gotten out of the house much lately, so it was nice to get dressed up. You can't tell, but I am wearing a maxi dress and sandals...even though it was 40-something degrees. I am so sick of winter, so I decided I was just going to wear a dress. Plus, I am so much more comfortable when I don't have to wear pants.

The friends we went out with are expecting their first child too. She is 3 weeks more pregnant than me, so it's nice to have someone to talk to who is going through the same things (:

I get to call this week and try to set up our 20 week ultrasound. I am really looking forward to getting it re-confirmed that she IS a little girl. Plus, I have been buying little outfits and friends have been sending stuff, so I really want her to stay a "little miss".

Um, I couldn't help myself from grabbing these from Target...

It's unbelievable that I am almost halfway through. Time is flying by!
