Happy new week friends! I’ve missed you all weekend.
So what’s been happening in all your lives?? Hopefully a lot more than what’s been going on in mine… A whole lot of nothin’!
I just finished the most amazing lunch EVER!
Joe, the really awesome man who lives behind our office building made his legendary potato salad and burritos with homemade chili beans.
Potato salad is one of my all time favorite foods so for me to call this my favorite is a BIG deal!
I like that it’s so chunky. Each bite tastes different. He also always includes big chunks of black olive, which should be an ingredient in every potato salad.
Heres what I had for lunch today.
A little paper bowl of homemade deliciousness.
And for breakfast this morning I kept it to a medium hazelnut coffee with Splenda.
Since I’ve brought up my Little Buddy (aka iPhone 3GS) by posting this picture I’ll tell you that yesterday it wasn’t working!!! Oh the world is literally coming to an end.
The volume wasn’t working at all on any app for for any notification sound except the ringer. I was so upset. Max even did a bunch of crazy computery-geeky things that had me restoring and removing all its data. I was freaking out and max had to take my iPhone and computer into the other room for my sanity.
It was showing me all sorts of screens I’ve never seen before and it freaked me out like when an elephant sees a mouse!!
Luckily today it’s all working again!! Score 1 for iPhone for fixing itself. If only everything could work like that. Then life would feel like a beach vacation and a piña colada every day!!
2 rules to live by… Hopefully
Here it is. I’m going to create a rule and break my only rule which is to never make rules…
Yep.
I feel like I really need to eat just a tiny bit healthier. I still want to eat what I want when I want it but I definitely can improve just a little bit so here is rule number 1.
Eat one burrito a week (no more!!)
FYI the burrito I enjoyed today doesn’t count because it was teeny tiny and filled with eggs and veggies.
My final rule is to try and eat more salads.
I’ve kinda deviated away from eating off salad menus since starting eating intuitively. Which I’m fine with. I don’t want to ever feel like I HAVE to eat a salad again. But I think an easy way to get myself to eat them more is to read the salad portion of the menu first. See if anything looks tasty and if not move on to everything else.
Tell me about you!! I want to know…
Do you eat a lot of salads?
Would you ever go skiing or are you more of a snowboarding person?
I’m lodge people! Give me a hot cocoa and I’ll just watch everyone fly by.
Do you have an addiction to any food?
Burritos…
