I am constantly amazed at how quickly time flies by, especially now I’m a mum! I thought it might be nice to stop and reflect on the highlights from first six months of this year.

Kaz’s Top 6 Half-Yearly Highlights
1. Buying a camper trailer and taking off on lots of family trips in Summer. Getting away from household chores and spending quality time with my little family is something I cherish.
2. Celebrating Dora’s 2nd birthday with lovely family and friends.
3. Our first zoo trip was to Mogo Zoo. Dora may have been more interested in scoring herself an icecream, but we had a great day and she loved meeting a dingo.
4. Hubby surprised me by packing a lovely picnic lunch and taking me to a quiet spot in the Royal National Park for Mother’s Day. Dora had a wonderful time exploring the creek and I managed to befriend a leech who attached itself to my ankle!
5. Establishing a vegetable garden and enjoying watching it grow. Dora’s excitement over it makes it even more fun. She constantly wants to check if any peas or veggies have grown (and sometimes picks things too soon).
6. The Royal Easter Show is something I have fond memories of as a child. Creating our own family memories and seeing the excitement from Dora, made the tanties whilst there worthwhile.
