When I did that chocolate post yesterday and stuck poor Freddo into the laces of my walking boots I was struck by how tired they looked. And the smell wasn't very enticing either.
Admittedly the boots have served me well. I think I bought them not long after Boy Two was born and he's 11 now. OK, so I don't get out walking as much as I'd like, but they've certainly done a fair few days on the hills.
So I was delighted when I got offered a pair of women's walking boots by Hi Tech to review. I chose these beauties and I can't wait to take them out for a test hike.
According to the blurb they're "for the intrepid lady". Ha! Now at least I've no excuse for not walking the walk, intrepidly. And apparently Hi-Tec is inspired by life, so that'll help. Actually most of the time I'm inspired by life too.
