It's the 25 Week Bumpdate!
Only 15 ::or less:: weeks to go (:
Want to see how far the bump has come?
15 weeks is on the left and 25 weeks is on the right. She's finally starting to poke out a little bit.
This week was fairly eventful...
We live about 5-10 minutes from where the Black Forest Fire was this past week. I appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers and I am so grateful that we didn't have to evacuate. It was a stressful thing to deal with day to day as the winds changed and so did the evacuation areas.
{mint top}
On Friday night I got to go to dinner with a friend and I finally tried on this mint top. I love it! And since it's so form fitting it really made me look like I have a baby bump.
...and then THIS happened. It was by total accident. I grew up in Florida, so I know all about getting burned or being careful with the sun. What I haven't gotten used to is being at such a high elevation out here and the sun burning you in like 2 minutes. I went miniature golfing with one of my friends and it was even cloudy the majority of the hour we were outside. Ryan was not very happy with me...Thankfully my face lotion and makeup has sunscreen in it so it didn't touch my face...
Besides that, this week flew by! I was concerned one day because I didn't really feel the baby move at all. I tried all the tricks and then I checked her heartbeat with the doppler. It sounded find so I told myself if she wasn't moving by the morning I would call the doctor...she was back to her normal wiggly self the next day.
I have to say the craziest thing is being able to see the movements from the outside. Now I am just waiting to see her hand or foot clearly pressed up against my stomach. She definitely changes positions a lot. Yesterday was the first time I felt her kick up against my ribs. It's usually a lot lower than that.
I am so excited for the month of July and all the time I will get to spend with Ryan. We are going to Chicago for our baby shower, camping over the 4th of July and are planning at least one other weekend trip besides that. I cannot believe that our little girl will be here in 12 weeks or less!
Check out one of the sweetest ladies I know, Mallory:
