26 weeks in and only one week away from the third trimester!
The past 6 weeks have really flown by and I know that I will blink and be at 30 weeks.
Next week is the 4th of July and we have some fun things planned. For one, we are going to attempt to go camping with some friends. Ryan insists we have an air mattress (which I am not complaining about), since I can barely sleep in our own bed, let alone on the ground. I'm excited because I haven't been camping in years!
After that, we will head to Chicago about a week later to visit family and friends and have our baby shower. The day we get back from Chicago I will be 30 weeks. It will be so crazy to be able to say at that point I will have 10 weeks or less of being pregnant.
I realized this the other night:
That was pretty neat to think about. That means we are in double digits now people!
I've been spending a lot of time with a few of the other army wives here and it has been nice to just get some girl time and make new friends.
We got together and made homemade pizza this week and it was a lot of fun.
On another note: Hello Pregnancy Brain!
This is DEFINITELY a real thing. Three times in the past week I made coffee in the morning. I put it in the freezer for 10 minutes to cool off so I can ice it...
...and then forget about it until 9pm at night. I asked my doctor and he said it really is for real - and that it lasts up to a few months after you give birth. Great.
I went out to meet a girlfriend for lunch and run some errands. I snapped this quick picture to show the actual 26 week bump when dressed.
black tee// Gap Maternity mint skinny jeans// H&M Mama
I am in love with Gap Maternity anything. It is really high quality and fits great. I just wait until I get a 35% off code (which happens almost every other week) and buy everything then. I haven't paid over $20 for an item! And the mint skinny's....those I got from the maternity section at H&M for only $14.99! They fit really well and don't look like "mom" jeans, so I was thrilled.
Well that's about it for the week (:
