How far along: 26 weeks
Size of baby: Eggplant (WOAH!)
Baby's size and weight: 9.2 in, 2 lbs
My total weight gain: 31 pounds. I talked to my doctor about it (again) and he said he wasn't going to yell at me and didn't believe me when I told him how much I weighed when I got pregnant. He said if I wanted to watch my carb portions and start exercising more it may help... I still feel like crap for gaining this much though...Baby's development: -Eyes starting to open
-Brain more developed and sophisticated
Stretch marks: None.
Maternity clothes: Yes, purchased some new oversized sweaters. I'm loving that it's a trend right now because I can be comfy and be trendy :) And I'm officially out of regular clothes.. no hiding this belly now...
Gender: Girl.
Movement: Yes! So excited for Z to feel her this weekend :)
Sleep: Still taking Unisom nightly. And Nolan has been waking up so early... not used to it but I supposed it's good practice.
What I miss: fitting into my clothes and liking what I see in the mirror. 31 extra pounds does not look good on me.
Food cravings: Chipotle. I celebrated yesterday after my glucose test came back negative! No gestational diabetes for this mama this time! WOO HOO!
Symptoms: Feeling large, lower back pain, sleepy, and super emotional.
Nolan is: hilarious. He heard Nelly on XM radio the other day and picked it up right away. Take a peek for yourselves...
Zach is: ready to see us :) I have a feeling he's going to be obnoxious with touching my belly but I have to remember, he missed all of my first pregnancy and most of this. Deep breaths...
What I'm looking forward to: seeing Zach this weekend... EEK. Once I get through the flight with Nolan, I'll be able to relax a little and be more excited.
Best moments: finding out I don't have gestational diabetes this pregnancy. Like seriously, HUGE happy dance followed that phone call. And wearing fall hats on a walk with my baby :)
Funny things: Nolan tattled on me for burping the other day... little stinker! And my conversation with Zach regarding my order from Ulta.. happy wife, happy life!
Not so funny things: only getting to spend four days with Zach but hey, better than Afghanistan right?
