It was another beautiful day in the 'Shire and I was lucky enough to have the chance of a stroll in good company.
And even better, when Deb and I got back from our walk with a fine appetite, the Panther had made us a very excellent breakfast.
On our way, as well as being filled with brambles and rose hips, Deb and I noticed the hedges were teeming with birds. Presumably the volucrine version of hanging out in the airport bar preparing for departure.
I was left wondering how they all know it's D-day and what can you do with millions of rose hips?
