I'm glad times have changed, overall. College and moving to DC have done wonders for my fashion, but I still feel like I am finding myself. I'm wishy-washy and tend to follow the trends, and I wish I could just find something that's me and stick with it. We'll keep working on it.

31 (Blogging) Days of May, Day 1: Style Retrospective
Posted on the 01 May 2012 by Thecurlycasualista @curlycasualista
Kyla, of Blue Collar Catwalk, has put together a blogging calendar for the 31 days of May. Since I seem to have hit a writer's block, I've decided to participate. I can't guarantee that I'll post something every day, but I'm going to do my best! You can learn more about the challenge and find the Google calendar she's set up, here!Day one of the challenge is a style retrospective. Unfortunately, all the pictures of me as a child are located in Massachusetts with my parents, however, I was able to scrounge up a few from Facebook. Obviously, as a child, I was really cool and wore bright blue bathing suits (most likely from L.L. Bean, of course) and pool rings on my head. Can I just note, that I was in costume when this photo was taken - we were rehearsing our Destination Imagination skit. It was probably really late after a full day of school, so we can excuse a lot. But we cannot overlook those awesome shoes I'm wearing (that's me in the red suit, holding my friend Bridy). Clunky, fabric, with crisscrossing elastic thingies. I actually wore those. To dances. To band concerts. Ick.And finally, my uniform during high school (front row, second from left): jeans and a sweatshirt. Clearly I was very uninspired in the mornings (still am?).
