Putting Boy Three into the car to go to nursery this morning, he suddenly flung his arms around my neck as I leaned over to strap him in.
He pulled me close.
"Look into my eyes mummy," he gripped my face between his hands so I was within kissing distance of the tip of his nose.
My heart swelled.
"Hold it there, mommy. I just want to see if my scarf is OK," And he examined his reflection in the wet of my eyes.
