The picture on the left was from 25 weeks and the right was nearly 33. I think I look much bigger in real life and I definitely feel bigger, but comparing the two pictures side by side, I haven't grown that much in 8 weeks, and for that I am grateful.
I have been sitting at a 22 pound weight gain for about 3 weeks now which is also nice...I jumped from 19-22 in one week which worried me, but like the rest of my pregnancy, I hang out at the new weight for a few weeks. Even if I gain 1 pound a week for the rest of the pregnancy I will still be somewhere between 30-35 pounds, which is the most I "should be" gaining to stay healthy.
Little Rilynn is a little over 4 pounds and is the size of a honeydew, or a ukulele if you are using my awesome Daddy Version Size Guide. She moves a lot and it is actually starting to get painful. The worst thing has been that I am getting cramps all the time. The doctor just keeps saying it is from the pressure she is putting on my lower stomach and uterus. On a good note, my doctor has NEVER delivered a baby that "switched genders". She said I better not be her first. That made me feel a lot less worried about Rilynn turning into a boy before her due date.
We were supposed to have our maternity photos done last Friday....

Instead we had a crazy storm. We have been getting a ton of rain and now there have been floods and mudslides all over the place. At least this should keep the wildfires away. So instead we went to the most delicious Greek restaurant and...

I finally got my IceDream cone! Our Chick-Fil-A closed so they could fix the drive thru. We did not know this and went three different times over two weeks, thinking it would be re-opened. Well, they finally did re-open and I got a pretty good cone from them. I hate it when they give you an inch of ice cream - I've even made comments to the drive thru person when I get shafted like that...

We cleaned the carpets one last time before the baby. I HATE carpet. It is so gross and disgusting to me. I vacuum all the time (even 3 times before we cleaned the carpets) and the water that comes up is black and filthy. I just always feel like it holds in so much dirt and germs. When we move, hard floors are non-negotiable.
