Is the beautiful and lovely two-month-old Tassimo coffee machine to give me coffee, not a rattle noise and some steam.
I know that's a shallow and spoilt first-world wish, but, the disobedience of the coffee machine is the last in a long line of insubordination from inanimate objects.
The telly (now fixed), the boiler (better but not entirely repaired), the first damp patch on the wall (waiting for dry weather - ha), the second damp patch (waiting for man to give me quote after first roofing firm tried to suggest I defraud my insurance company), Apple products that decide they don't, in fact, fancy connecting to wifi today, and various other trivial breakdowns and failures have all conspired to make me slightly crabby and even just a touch irascible.
