What a difference a year makes. I’m siting here a jumbled mix of emotions reflecting on the past 12 months and how far I (we) have come and still how far I have to go. So close but still so far away. That’s what I’m thinking any way. These past 12 months have been more than a whirlwind. I feel blessed in my UN-rest. Happy and sad. Thankful for what I have yet yearning for what once was. Forward focused but remembering what I left behind. Closed so many doors. But I’ve wrote then re-wrote more than a few new chapters. Grateful for every challenge. Every obstacle, mountain, and hurdle for these only make me stronger. Grateful for family. For peace, comfort, security, and support. Knowing that I may feel lonely but I’m never alone.  Strong even though I feel weak. Mighty even though I feel low. The good. The bad. The ugly. Happy to be me. Happy to be free. Yes, what a difference a year makes. #stay triumphant
