4 Kinds of CHAOS

My life has been in mad amounts of chaos lately. GOOD and BAD.
GOOD CHAOS: My best friend Ellen is getting married tomorrow. I will obviously have a GIANT post about this after the wedding, because I am going to take a million photos and I will be crying all day tomorrow.
GOOD CHAOS: I received an offer letter for a new job! It all happened so quickly.. I had been interviewing at Medical Staffing companies since Novemeber and was really hoping for a success through this career path. I started to pick up a lot of momentum, meaning I had quite a few phone interview which quickly led to office interviews. I was really set on joining this industry, because J does this for a living along with his sister and they both love their jobs. After the momentous pick up I decided I needed to put in my 2 weeks at my current job, my last day was set for Dec 20th. However, Posh had me leave a week early, so my last day was December 13th. Throughout Decemeber I decided to look at other career opportunities and found a position listed for an Executive Assistant, a position I hadn’t thought about. I clicked out of my browser and kept going back - so I decided to apply. BAM! BOOM! BING! The holidays zoomed by and normalcy returned to the world and I received a call for the EA position. I was so excited for this interview! I went into the office and loved the environment. I left knowing this was my front runner. Monday, I received a call and I was offered the job! Here’s the crazy part, I started the next day! Now, I have officially been employed here for 3 days and I couldn’t be happier. I am so glad I made the decision to leave my old job and chase a new opportunity.
BAD CHAOS: Shia has been really sick this week. J and I think she may have eaten something bad for her. Monday night and Tuesday night we were up all night long with her. Seriously, we were pretty much taking shifts. She had to go outside every minute and let her go to the bathroom. Her little lips were all swollen and her bum was completely raw from… well you can imagine. As much as I love Shia, last night I was pleading with the devil hoping she would sleep, so I could. Jared has been building little enclosures around her bed at night, so we know she want get up and go poop somewhere, we didn’t want to have her stuck in her kennel, so this was our alternative. She couldn’t sleep on the bed with us, because her bum was nasty and stinky. We have bathed her 6 times in the past two days, but the poor girl was just not feeling good. Last night, she did do much better, but she still isn’t back to 100.
BAD CHAOS: Yesterday I was taking Shia and Indie out to the bathroom. Here’s the thing with my dogs, they bark. They bark at other dogs. They have never been in a fight or hurt any dog and they adore people, but they bark. As I was taking them out to go to the bathroom they saw a dog and started to bark and run. They were on leashes, but I lost my balance. They pulled me and I tripped over our front step. I smashed into the driveway. My knees hit first and then my elbow crashed into the cement. I couldn’t move my left arm for a solid 30 seconds. I thought I had broken something. The lady who was walking her dog and child just started at me. I don’t blame her for being upset, she doesn’t know my dogs and that scene would probably terrify anyone. She was incredibly mean though, she yelled at me as I was still trying to get up with tears welling in my eyes. All I could say was “I’m so sorry..” I meant it. I do need to train my dogs better to stop barking and getting so excited. I just felt if the tables were turned, instead of yelling I would have asked if she was okay and helped her off the ground.
