One of my SMART goals (remember them? I do, even though I have not written about them in a while) was to have more fun. A sub-goal of this goal was to compile a list of fun activities that I could do with or without friends. I am clearly late with coming up with this list. The due date for the fun activities list is was Halloween. Here it is post-thanksgiving and I am just getting it done. Better late than never. Never too late to have more fun.
I came up with 40 different activities.
- Movies
- Spa treatment
- Happy Hour
- Have a pot luck
- Color (yes with a coloring book and crayons)
- Go to a museum
- Go shopping
- Painting With A Twist
- Go to the Zoo
- Play Candy Crush or Words With Friends
- Watch You Tube videos
- Play with you pet
- Take a walk in your neighborhood
- Read a book
- Listen to a book on tape
- Netflix!
- Call a friend
- Dance ( maybe with a Wii game or even Dance Naked)
- Read your favorite blog from the beginning
- Hang out in a book store
- Go to a coffee shop
- Create a scrap book (that's right actually print out some of the photos from your phone)
- Enter a bunch of blog giveaways.
- Get a Mani/ Pedi
- Visit a winery or store that does tastings
- Cook a new recipe
- Shop online
- Visit your mom or dad
- Listen to NPR
- Listen to the Elvis Duran Show
- Have a girls night in
- Go to the casino
- Go to a local sporting event
- Go to the car, flower, home or other convention in your town.
- Go out for dessert
- Be a Tourist in your own city
- Go apple picking
- Go Bowling
- Buy greeting cards and send them to your friends
- Take a class
- Fifty ways to have fun by yourself on the cheap.
- Fun things to do by yourself.
- Things to do when you're bored and alone.
