4S Be Acting Crazy!

About 6  months ago I had a bad day. Well actually the day must have been somewhat good because I had a bottled Dr. Pepper. I had put the Dr. Pepper in my purse while I was headed out to my car form work. I was ready to go home and relax. I get in my car and noticed my leg was damp. The lid wasn't screwed on the Dr. Pepper very tight and it had created a swimming pool in my purse. Which would be totally fun, and I would have invited everyone to come and swim, except that my phone was also residing in my purse.

Ever since that warm day my phone has had a few problems. The top button was really sticky so it was hard to push. Every now and again the flash from the camera would turn on and it wouldn't turn back off for a few days. Nothing too major. Last Tuesday my phone fell off his little rocker. He started turning on and off whenever he pleased. Taking screen shots every 5 seconds. If you tried to use him he would freak out, going to the lock screen every other minute.
Being the passive person I am, I thought it would fix itself. Well 6 looonnnngggg frustrating days went  by and I decided I needed to do something.
Yesterday Jared took my phone into Best Buy which is where I bought it and at the time of purchase I bought the insurance. I buy insurance for everything at Best Buy, and I have used it EVERY TIME! This is the iPad that I cracked and got a brand new one!

I was expecting a hassle, so I armed him with the original receipt, box, and paperwork. However, they didn't even hassle him one bit. They took his word that the phone was acting up and put in a request to get a new one! I was so relieved! They said they'd call me when it gets to the store in the next few days.  I was ecstatic. I figured I have about another week before I get it and I can live with that.
Today I wake up (tired as I've ever been) and I usually use my phone to monitor the time while I am getting ready. Over the past week I can barely do this, because it shuts off so frequently. Well today, it shut off NOT ONCE! What is happening here? I test out twitter, facebook, instagram and while scrolling through my various feeds the phone didn't have one issue. I was amazed. It's like the phone new I was giving him away and decided to start acting normal again. I don't even know what to think at this point. I kind of hope he starts acting up so I don't feel guilty trading him in for a younger, hotter, model. (Just kidding -- it will still be a 4S just a brand new one).
