The word “resilience” is multifaceted in the sense that it can be applied in different contexts. When it comes to psychology and the human mind, resilience is an individual’s ability to withstand both mental and physical stress. Resilience is one of the most important qualities a person can and has to possess to succeed and thrive in life.

Resilience is an ability that is built up and sustained over time by an individual; it’s not something that can be attained overnight.
