1. Orlando, Florida - I might have been to Florida once before, but I never really got to 'see' Orlando or Florida and as the perfect family holiday destination, it's the place that is currently at number one on my bucket list. We're hoping to visit in 2021 when the boys are 8 and 6 and we are planning on going for two weeks and visiting Disney World again, as well as Universal for the first time and then having a few more chilled days to experience a trip to the beach and some of the malls for a bit of US shopping and fun! I really can't wait to book it in and start planning! 2. New York - I know, I know, New York tops pretty much everyone's bucket lists doesn't it?! But at some point in my life, I've just got to stand in Time's Square and just fully appreciate that moment of actually being there. There's so much I want to do and see in New York and I hope one day I'll be able to go even if it's just for a long weekend. 3. San Francisco - The very famous and iconic Golden Gate Bridge is more than enough to make me want to visit San Francisco, but I also really want to tour Alcatraz and wander down Fisherman's Wharf. 4. Las Vegas and The Grand Canyon - We very nearly booked Las Vegas for our honeymoon but in the end, we opted for The Lake District here in the UK - it always makes me laugh when I say that out loud as obviously they are two VERY different holiday options, haha! We had a wonderful honeymoon, but I just have to see Vegas at one point in my life and take a trip to The Grand Canyon to take in the incredible sights. I'm not sure why it appeals to me so much, I'm not one for gambling, I just think it looks like such a unique place and somewhere you just have to visit at least once in your lifetime. 5. Los Angeles - It's probably the city's association with celebrities and glamour that makes me want to visit so much. Hollywood (I've really got to the see the Hollywood sign with my own eyes!), Disneyland and the beaches make me want to see LA!6. Yosemite National Park - Just looking at photographs of the iconic landscapes at Yosemite National Park make me feel instantly chilled out and relaxed and so I can't imagine how breathtakingly beautiful and calming it must be to actually be there. I hope one day I'll get to experience Yosemite for myself. 7. Hawaii - Where do I begin with why I'd like to visit Hawaii? First of all, the beaches look spectacular, as do the national parks and the sunsets and sunrises. And then there's the chance to go whale watching - it would be utterly incredible to see such amazing animals in their own natural environment. Basically, Hawaii looks like an outdoor paradise and I would the opportunity to experience Hawaii for myself. And so there you have it - my top 7 places that I'd like to visit in the US. It was so hard to narrow these down, as I pretty much want to visit all of the US states! Have you visited any of the states on my list? And if so which? And where in the US would you like to visit next?

7 Places I'd Like To Visit In The United States
Posted on the 31 October 2019 by Alex_bumptobaby @bumptobaby_blog
Ever since I can remember I've felt connected to the United States, which is funny really being that I've only ever actually visited the US once and that was actually an opportunity to visit Walt Disney World in Florida (an incredible opportunity to say the least) that occurred through my blog. But despite the lack of actual visiting, there's always been something about the USA that just calls to me and I really hope that in the years to come I'll be able to grab our passports, get our ESTA forms sorted and jump on a flight to America to tick off some of the below places that make up just a small part of my US bucket list.
