7X7 Link Award!

Well folks, guess what? Joanna over at “Sweet Santuray” (you can find her blog here, http://sweetsantuary.wordpress.com/) has been so kind to have nominated me for the 7×7 Link Award. I honestly don’t know too much about it, but like all WordPress awards it comes with a catch, and we will get to that in a second. A big thanks to Joanna, I have been on WordPress a month today exactly, so I feel quite special.

Now down to business, there are three parts to accepting this nomination (as most of you have probably heard many times) and the first is to tell the world something about myself no one else knows. Here goes nothing.

Once when I was about seven years old I went camping for the first time in my life, it was a very new experience, really.

And there’s your story!

If only my friends. Actually I cannot say that there’s too much more to tell, but I did end up getting lost for a solid three hours away from the camp site, considering my age it was one of the most frightening experiences of my life at the time. Fortunately I was found and here I am today!

Okay this next part is going to be much harder, I must link to one of my posts that I personally think best fits the following categories.

Most Beautiful Piece: I am going to have to pass on this one… but it will be the only one, don’t worry. I am a movie and TV reviewer, rarely will there be a case where you could call one of those two things beautiful, and I promise it isn’t on my blog.

Most Helpful Piece: It is always hard for me to judge my own work, but I would maybe say my most recent post, “Critiquing a Film – Should the Book Matter?”. http://mattandmotionpictures.wordpress.com/2011/12/27/critiquing-a-film-should-the-book-also-matter/

Most Popular Piece: Judging by number of comments received and views, it would be “Top 10 Favorite Films”. http://mattandmotionpictures.wordpress.com/2011/12/12/top-10-favorite-films/

Most Controversial Piece: “Top Acting Performances of the 21st Century”, it got the most complaints and has generally been my least popular work. http://mattandmotionpictures.wordpress.com/2011/12/07/top-acting-performances-of-the-21st-century/

Most Surprisingly Successful Piece: My third most commented and viewed post, “Why Pixar is the Greatest Animation Studio in History”. It was kind of a boring piece in my opinion, just a simple list, really, but people read it! http://mattandmotionpictures.wordpress.com/2011/12/17/why-pixar-is-the-greatest-animation-studio-in-history/

Most Underrated Piece: I don’t really like to think of my work as underrated or overrated, I’m not writing a book here, you know? But still, it’s my least popular, so “Top Acting Performances of the 21st Century” fits again I suppose.

Most Pride worthy Piece: Most definitely my It’s a Wonderful Life review! http://mattandmotionpictures.wordpress.com/2011/12/22/the-true-meaning-of-a-classic-its-a-wonderful-life-1946/

Next is the most fun part, I get the pleasure of passing this award on to seven other bloggers. In other words, seven blogs I really like!
