.......and today with great pleasure, I have Sierra here! Sierra and I still haven't met in real life and we live about 20-30 minutes away from each other. That's lame - we're lame. Anyway, I love Sierra's blog, it's fun and refreshing. She's like a big gulp of water on a hot summer day.

Hi Friends! Sierra here. I blog over at Oh, Just Living the Dream. Miki was one of my very first blogs that I followed and I absolutely fell in love with her raw genuine writing and hilarious personality (I still can't believe we haven't met in person! What is this, Miki?!) . I am so excited that she is having me on her blog today!!! I hope that I can get to know all of you and your blogs. Come say hi!
If money was no object, what are the top 5 things you'd buy?Oh man, this is a hard question! I would buy so many things.
1. I would buy a dog. I have been wanting a dog sooooo bad. I have been begging my husband for one since the second we got married (yes, a whole month ago haha!). We are currently looking at a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel or a Shichon! Ugh they are so cute. I know they are so much work, but I have wanted a dog my entire life and my parents would never get me one.
2. A home. My husband and I live in a basement apartment right now. And what I would do for a home of my own! Nothing big, just something that is ours. I would pay it all off and decorate it soooo cute!
3. I know this isn't "buying" anything but I would travel the entire world. I love teaching but I would take a year off and travel all over the world. I have such wanderlust! First places I would go would be Paris, Italy and Greece.
4. Shopping Spree. DUH.
5. Get a car for my husband and pay for all of his school :)
I know, this are kinda lame. That's what happens when you get married, I guess. You get all practical. Hahaha.
Have you ever had an argument that you knew you were wrong but kept arguing.
Um, YES. See, here's the thing about me. I don't like arguments. I hate them. But I tend to be quite an emotional person and when I am feeling extra emotional or tired or hungry, I tend to get quite irrational. Obviously I do it a lot less now (I'm all grown up and stuff ha), but I was sort of a teenager from hell. I wanted to experience everything "on my own" and when my mother had a logical, safe explanation as to why I shouldn't do anything, I would argue until I was grounded. Even though I sort of knew in the back of my mind I was being completely ridiculous and I was wrong, I would kept going. Hey, I was trying to find myself! Don't worry, I'm not like that now :) still feisty and blunt though ;)
What do you see yourself doing in 5 years?Realistically? Still being a teacher (I love my job. I teach 6th grade) and with one child, husband in dental school.
In my dreams? Traveling the world on broadway. haha.
Take us back to your very first kiss.Oh, geez. 8th grade (yea, we start young in oregon). He was my next door neighbor. I had language arts with him in junior high and at the beginning of the year, I hated him. Honestly, despised him. He used to torture me. Yet, as most immature boys do, he was so mean to me because he had a crush on me. Alas, at the end of 8th grade, he woo-ed me and I snuck out of my house...outside on the sidewalk, he played the guitar and kissed me. I was in 8th grade heaven. It was actually quite a good first kiss.
What do you admire about someone else's personality that you wish you had in your personality?I wish I was kinder. Don't get me wrong, I am a very nice person. But I tend to be quite sarcastic and a little brutal. I wish I could just see the best in people most of the time. I admire people who are so kind to others, no matter what.
What's one thing about you that is shocking or unexpected?
Everything. Haha just kidding. No, but really, I have a lot of things about me that are crazy and fun! But the first thing that came to my mind is that I lived in a village in Kenya for 2 months. I was a teacher there and became a part of their village. It was the hardest, but most amazing experience of my life.
What is your favorite photo of yourself and why?
Normally I hate talking about photos of myself but the reason why I love this photo is because it represents one of the momentous experiences of my life: my wedding. I got married this past summer {Wedding Series is on the blog!} and it was honestly such a wonderful day. I felt beautiful. I felt loved. I was genuinely happy. And I love this photo because I feel like it represents all of that.
