A Gift to Myself

Blogging is hard work. I enjoy it, and I love it very much. That doesn’t mean that it’s not incredibly hard to make time every day to post, answer emails, fix the blog, keep up on your twitter/facebook and answer and read comments. Am I right? I decided to give a gift to myself. I entered Dorothy’s homemade blogger swap. Dorothy and I were swapping partners, aka swingers. Pretty much the only rule was that the gifts were homemade. We were suppose to send the gifts out on the 18th. Seriously I checked my mailbox every single day after the 18th. I was so excited to get my gift. Even though I made and mailed a gift. I felt as if I was just receiving one. There is nothing better than getting snail mail An awesome package with your name on it. Something that is not a bill! Dorothy out did herself. She made me the CUTEST clutch I have ever seen. It also came wrapped in twine. I am in love with twine. Seriously in love.The clutch is coral on one side and teal on the other with chevron print. Seriously, If you can win a blog swap I win.Plus look how freaking cute the inside is. She used all up-cycled materials. I am in lover lover LOVEThen as if that clutch isn’t the absolute best she also included COASTERS! Whhhhat?How in the world did she sew those? I  have no idea. I am better off not knowing I think.So If Dorothy ever comes to you from Goodbye.. Yellow Brick Road, and asks to do a blog swap…. DO IT! Then you and your puppy can enjoy presents all day long.
