A Good Weekend After a Hard Week!

Happy Monday Girl Fella’s! How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was awesome. There is something about having a terrible week, that really makes you appreciate your weekend. I felt like I just needed some really good cuddles and long days in bed after I found out about my cousin’s passing on Thursday. My wonderful husband did a great job of keeping me positive this weekend, and getting me out of the house. Sometimes if I am in a rut, I don’t shower, I don’t brush my teeth, I just lay in bed all day long, which truly isn’t healthy at all. On Saturday Jared convinced me to get dressed up (always makes you feel better) and head out to the ReAl game (Utah’s Major League Soccer Team). I have to remind myself never to wear my steve madden wedges anywhere where I have to walk more then 10 feet. Seriously, the worlds cutest wedges are so hard to walk in! They only have like a 1 inch span for your entire foot, so it feels like you are walking on a freaking balance beam. Worst idea ever! I was tripping all over the place, Jared said it’s a good thing they were serving alcohol at the game, because then people would just assume I was drunk, instead of knowing that I seriously could not walk in my shoes. I looked like a fool. However, Jared also knows my deep love affair with scarves, so he bought me the cutest ReAl scarf at the game. It also was logical because it was FREEZING! Utah is so tricky with the weather. It looks warm, but don’t believe it. It’s not, not until July. I am horrible at taking photos with my phone (I can’t wait for an iPhone!) I always cut off Jareds head. Good thing he has a handsome chin. These are my Steve Madden wedges, so cute – SO HARD TO WALK IN!Then on Sunday, we went and had dinner at my in-laws. We try and make it over there every other Sunday (and go to my parents on the alternating Sundays). Yesterday was fun, because we were celebrating Jared and Josh’s birthday! Which is actually tomorrow. We watched home videos, that Jared and Josh made of themselves biking when they were younger. I love watching home videos they made. They are always so hysterical. Nothing better than seeing my husband as a careless young teenager crashing on his bike. ha ha! After his parents we went and saw Cabin in The Woods. I like scary movies, but I like to watch them at home, because I gasp and cover my eyes. I look so silly in the theater. After a little persuading we decided to see it anyway. Luckily we were seriously the only ones in the entire theatre, so I could gasp and scream and it was all good! We even bought those ginormous huge pixie sticks. My favorite candy ever. Have any of you seen that movie? I’m not going to say too much, but seriously.. that movie is not at all what I expected. It’s probably one of my favorite horror movies ever. You’re laughing really hard one second, and then scared out of your mind the next. Our ginormous pixie stick.Me alone in the theatre, with popcorn, cotton candy, pixie stick, and some dr. pepper. That’s the RIGHT way to go to a movie. We don’t usually splurge this much.So that was my weekend! It was a much needed breath of fresh air. I think I am going to do a tutorial later today or tomorrow on the HTML for rotating buttons. I have been getting quite a few emails asking me how I make my buttons rotate, so I thought I’d share the wealth of knowledge :)
