A Grim Update for a Grim Season

Posted on the 02 October 2013 by Mikidemann @mikidemann
This past few weeks has been tough, gruff and grim! I feel like I've been in a battle in some foreign country where I don't understand what's going on so I just sit and wait and feel like a lump on a log. There's so much going on and so little that I understand in my life.
The fall is upon us here in Utah and it's always a hard time, because you know that freezing weather is about to set in. Fall is tricky, because it can last for 2 weeks or 2 months before you have 3 feet of snow in your front yard and you have to wake up earlier to defrost your car before you drive to work. You and your friends will all disappear and hibernate inside the comfort of warm homes for a few months. The days don't last long and the nights are so bitter cold that you may opt for letting the dog pee on the floor instead of open the front door (just kidding.. that's gross)!
This photo is outside by bedroom door last year. It does look pretty in the photo, but man oh man it sucks when you can't warm up for 3 months straight. A grim update for a grim season
On top of just feeling depressed and anxious about fall, soon to be winter and the cold. It's been a battle to get my car to pass safety. I took it in on Monday for the test, it failed. Now I have a haunting paper riding in the passenger seat that says REJECTED to remind me that I have to spend money on something that really isn't fun at all, my car. Can't they just put my right hand on a bible and I'll swear that I feel safe driving in Linus? That really would get rid of some of the anxiety in my life. I feel like I'm living outside of the law, dodging cops on my way to work hoping they don't see my 9/13 stickers and realize I'm practically a villain.
If you're not feeling blue yet, I'll update you on the fraud situation. We're still battling them. My bank was going to refund some money until we all found out this CBN place is pretending to be a real business. They have a lady working in customer service and they're making us jump through so many hoops. Jared is a knight and shining armor seriously. He is really good to sit on the phones with these dickholes for hours and argue my case. It really shouldn't be a case at all, it's my money that they stole. They are claiming that they have a recording of me giving them information, BUT they somehow haven't been able to retrieve it. They have refunded $100 out of the $500 and we're hoping that we'll get the rest back by tomorrow. Please keep your good vibes coming my way, if you have good vibes, apparently I'm all out.
I've been trying to talk Jared into going on a vacation in March. Somewhere really cool like Thailand, Hawaii, Costa Rica. That's why I have been trying so hard to budget and get my credit card paid off. Which I have made progress! That's good news!
Where should Jared and I go on vacation?
