A Haunted Scavenger Hunt in Hollywood!

Posted on the 15 January 2013 by Jamie Gall @50states50wines

I have ALWAYS wanted to go on some kind of scavenger hunt.  I knew they were a ton of fun, and it allowed for your mind to get utilized in a way we don’t always challenge ourselves in.

Well, my chance finally came last Tuesday when I was invited out to Hollywood to partake in a scavenger hunt on behalf of the release of “House at the End of the Street.”  Joining in with other blogging friends made the night extra fun.

We met up at a location in Hollywood where we were then paired off into team of twos.  Each team was given a packet full of questions where in order to be completed had to answer at least 15 of the 20 questions.

I was teamed up with Keiunta from Free and For Me where she discusses adventures with her family, hosts fun giveaways and reviews.  Each team had a specific question to start from.  Our first question took us over to Grauman’s Chinese Theater and we answered the first question in no time, however, the second question was a completely different story.

By the end of the night we had answered a total of 8 questions, and we soon learned this was a lot tougher than we realized, but we tried our hardest, over thought a lot of the questions, and even had some help along the way.  People really do know their jobs in Hollywood ;)

Afterwards, we were given our last clue which directed us to “The House at the End of the Street” otherwise known as the Geisha House in which drinks and appetizers were served.

Director Mark Tonderai was also present that evening where he talked with us for a little bit about the making of “House at the End of the Street” and then showed us a little clip:

The evening was a ton of fun and Fox Entertainment Group put on a great event.

So, who’s ready to do the next scavenger hunt with me?

Disclosure: I was given a copy of The House at the End of the Street and asked to partake in this scavenger hunt.
