A Little About Me...

PicturePhoto by DeAnn Arnold Photography 2012 This post is a little about me, as I thought it would be nice to really introduce myself to my followers.
I am a 30 something mom (code for almost 40), and my husband and I together have the little "Brady Bunch".  It's a "his, mine, and ours" group of four of the sweetest little people you could imagine. (All parents think this about their kids, I know...)
How did I go from full time medical sales professional to full time mom, full time VP of our family company, and full time blogger?  Well, I found myself not so long ago coming out of a career that at one time was fulfilling, and then suddenly within the last two years became insanely stressful and difficult. While I was focused and determined to continue in my career, the circumstances I found myself in were leading down a path I could not change.  So in April of 2012, I began PinkWhen, my husband and I started our company a month later, and I began staying home with our youngest.
Why did I decide on doing a crafts, healthy foods, and recipes blog?  The choice of topics to focus on was the easiest decision! These are simply the things that I find the most interesting and love to talk about.  I love to create things, I love to show others how to create them, and I LOVE making those things for WAY less than I could purchase them for.  It's addicting to me the way "couponing" could be addicting to others.
As far as healthy food choices and recipes, that comes easy too.  My husband and I LOVE to cook, and we try to eat healthy for the most part.  (That's not to say we don't do "bad" occasionally.)  We love to cook for others and host parties, and just have a great friends and family time.
Well that's my little bit about me.  I am glad you took the time to read, and if you aren't completely bored out of your mind, then take the time to follow me on Facebook and Twitter!  I would love to hear from you there, or you can always comment here, too. Thanks for stopping in!!
