The last few weeks I have been feeling uninspired by my writing and content on this blog. Don't get me wrong I love writing about beauty but I feel like my writing is becoming one dimensional. This post is in some ways an introduction to the way I want my blog to go forward in terms of content. I want to steer away from simply posting about product reviews or FOTD's and begin to include posts about things happening in my life and other topics important to me.I hope you will enjoy the new direction I wish to take Click Your Heels.
On another note I have recently hit 100 followers. I want to say thankyou to everyone who has supported me to date. The interaction I receive through comments and via Twitter encourages me to keep going so THANKYOU!
These last few weeks have been quite stressful and draining at work. My workload, long hours and a difficult supervisor has meant my evenings consist of shower, dinner then bed. This is not the way I want to live my life and I am so glad it will all be coming to an end in a weeks time.I have had a chance this weekend to finally get out and enjoy myself a bit.
Friday night I went to the Dunc Gray Velodrome to watch the boy race. He placed in a number of his races. I was very proud of him. One thing that has really taken a hit with being so busy and stressed at work is my fitness. I am looking forward to getting back into my exercise. I went to the gym last night for the first time in a week. My arms are feeling it today!
This weekend we have had a friend from Tasmania staying with us, much to my disgust I was told there are no real pancake places in Tasmania so Saturday morning we all went to Pancakes on the Rocks to satisfy my pancake cravings. The above picture was what was left of my regular stack with ice-cream and maple syrup. Boy it was good! It goes without saying but lunch wasn't required that day.
Last night finally saw the movie TED. I was in the mood for something light so this was perfect. I really enjoyed the movie. The humor is right up my alley. I can see how it would not be to every one's taste. If you like crass humor I am sure you will enjoy this movie.
I'd love to hear your opinions would you like to see more of this kind of content on Click Your Heels? What have you been up to this weekend? Please leave a comment below.
