A Road Trip and Being MIA…

Posted on the 06 December 2012 by Redneckprincess @RdNeckPrincess

I just thought I should let you all know that I may be missing for a few days…we are heading home to the parents for a couple of days. Just the two of us :)

My brother and the lovely Jen as well as the Wee Prince, whom I have not seen for an entire year are meeting us there. It really is hard to believe that I haven’t seen them for a year. Time flies by so fast.

It has been a brutal week for me, I have had Employment insurance issues…like by that I mean not getting any. Usually they guarantee that your claim will be in motion in 28 days.

Today is day 49 for me.

Don’t even get me started…there is no one you can call to find out about your claim. You have to go into the office. They just send a notice to whoever is higher than them.

And you have to wait 5 days, they promise you will hear by the fifth day.

I waited for nine.

Tomorrow was the day I was supposed to go back…it wouldn’t have been pretty.

Luckily they called me this morning and told me my claim had been finalized. I will hopefully have money in the next couple of days.

Not being able to support myself is my number one thing that I cannot cope with. I am not a good dependent, at all.

So needless to say, I haven’t been in the best of spirits for the last couple of days. Melt down pretty much covers it.

I am a little better today, and a road trip is exactly what I need right now, throw in some baby love and a visit to the farm and I will be good as new by Monday.

A Road trip and being MIA…

So if I don’t post much, I am ok. I am regrouping and trying really, really hard to get in the Christmas spirit. When we get back it will be time to get a tree. That always makes me smile.

So things are totally looking up, and I will be back to my belligerent self in no time…

And if anyone hears partying from my house…call the cops, it’ll be my kids…and they already know better :)

Happy early weekend loves.

xoxo
