Phew! I have been running around like a chicken with my head chopped off! Every time I’ve sat down to write, I have no internet to post, my computer is dead, or I have writers block. GRR!
I have a bunch of randomness going on so I just wanted to touch on a couple things, in no particular order!
- I am going to be spending the weekend Boston at a wellness event called Be Healthy Boston. I am so excited about this. There is going to be so much to see and try and eat!! A lot of local companies, fitness studios and products will be at the event such as Aveda, Vita-mix, and the Bar Method. I am going to try to get some good info for the blog, but I am shy and struggle with promoting myself when it’s face to face! [I am a wimp

- I LOVE cities. Everything about thing. Being in Boston is the most invigorating, energizing experience. I love the activity and buzz of people, it makes me feel alive. I have always wanted to live in a city, but I always seem to find an excuse to stay out in the country. I think it might be time to make the move! Don’t get me wrong, the trees and mountains are a great escape, but while I am young, without a family, I want to enjoy city life!
- I stayed with my grandparents last night because they live i teh suburbs of Boston. It was so great to see them. We ordered in from a local restaurant. My grandfather made me go pick-up the order and when I showed up I said, “Pick-up for Woodie please.” The woman was so surprised and said, “You’re not Mr. & Mrs. Woodie!” lol. My grandparents are such regulars the restaurant knows them and looks forward to seeing them. The woman was bummed I came to pick it up and not my grandparents.
- This morning, I didn’t have to get up until around 8am, which is a serious sleep in for me, but my body was up at 6:15am. I rolled around for a while, but my internal clock is set to get up early. It’s nice to not force myself to get up, but I also do like sleeping in.
- I have been eating shitty. I need to pick it up. I had a seafood platter last night, sugary cereal and refined carbs for breakfast and just devoured a giant lunch and my stomach now hurts. There is a break in Be Healthy Boston so I might go for a long walk. I really want to go for a run, it’s a beautiful day!
I love bread, especially nutty, oaty, bread!
