A little over a week ago I was invited out to Antonello’s Ristorante in Costa Mesa for a “Girl’s Night Out” with OC Mom Blog. They occasionally host events in and around the OC area.
That evening, we were out at Antonello’s Ristorante being introduced to their new Enoteca Lounge. The restaurant, opened since 1979, recently went through a major renovation and brought in their new lounge area.
A very fun place to hang out, relax with friends, and enjoy some of the amazing appetizers they have available:
A relaxing lounge area, right? That evening they also had a jazz musician on hand performing. And he was incredible. There were even some locals that came in just to hear him and to cheer him on.
But Antonello’s Ristorante has got it going on with the food:
This plate of meats was a great touch. And every Thursday evening they are calling it their “Wine night” where they do weekly tastings in the lounge.
The calamari!
Another snap shot of the meat plate and in the background were artichoke hearts.
That evening was my first time trying Octopus. The plate came out in a beautiful presentation. I don’t think I’m a fan though.
They had a variety of flatbread pizzas to choose from including a potato flavor flatbread. The one above was my favorite though.
But the most beautiful presentation of the evening was the dessert plate. How heavenly does that look? It was hard not going back for seconds.
Have you been to Antonello’s Ristorante before? If not, don’t you think it’s time you stop by?
