I adore finding other moms who own small businesses! Usually a mom sets out to make something for her little one and has so much fun doing it that she decides to open a shop.This was the case with Kristin. She began making accessories for her daughter Addilyn (AddiBug) and decided to share her creations in her shop AddiBug Designs. When I first "met" Kristin I had so much fun reading through her blog and getting to know her as another mom. I was still pregnant with Rilynn and soaking up any advice I could from mamas who were a little bit ahead of me.
Kristin offered to make a few headbands for Rilynn and I was so excited to see what she came up with.
I chose colors that coordinated with our favorite sports teams - red, blue and gold. I knew that anything in those colors would get a lot of wear because we watch our teams without fail every Saturday and Sunday. When the headbands arrived I just about died at how cute they were. They were so itsy bitsy and perfect for a newborn or small baby.
You can see to the left that Rilynn looked adorable for the Giants game this past week, sporting her tiny red felt bow.
Kristin makes headbands, clips and other accessories for babies and children of all sizes. I love that her felt bows get larger as well, that way the size of the bow coordinates to the size of your baby. Here are some other pictures of the headbands she sent and Rilynn wearing another one.
