ADVENTURES: Hello September
Posted on the 19 September 2014 by Violetdaffodils
Hello lovelies! When I think of Autumn, I automatically think of this beautiful picturesque area of Cumbria that I used to visit time and time again with my family when I was younger to collect conkers and take in the scenery. Almost a year ago I took some photographs there and due to a busy schedule and it being a warmer time of year, I failed to upload the photographs I took on my trip in time, so since the autumnal season is upon us, I felt it was the right time to upload them. I have so many fond memories of this place and eventually felt that it was time to visit it now that I am older and took my bf to see it as it is a very special place to me. I drove there and it was possibly the longest road trip I have ever done to date too which was a nice achievement. I always like to wrap up really warm for these trips as it usually is rather cold given the time of year it is. We had a wander round taking in the sights and enjoying the sound of the leaves crunching under our feet before having a cheeky hot chocolate with marshmallows before a long drive home. A particular highlight was befriending some ducks and swans and trying to get a photograph throwing leaves everywhere haha! Success ;)
