I have been a huge fan of subscription boxes for a while now, there's just something about having a nicely packaged parcel of surprises coming through your door once a month that fills me with excitement!
It started with beauty boxes, but now I tend to prefer the Mummy & Baby box subscription services...
I was thrilled to recently be given a chance to trial an Almondella box.
If you're not familiar with them - Almondella are a Finnish company and they offer a monthly subscription service tailored to the ages and stages of your child and their development from birth to 3 years.
The box contains organic and eco-friendly products, and the perks include the fact that Almondella offer free shipping within Europe.
They also allow you to see a preview of each months items before the box is sent, so if you want to then you can choose to skip a box.
I like the fact that the boxes follow a theme - for example their site currently shows a box for a 15 month old baby following the "Feeding Myself" theme and features a coverall, cutlery, dishes etc.
The box I received was perfectly tailored to Tyne's age and was themed around Walking - as obviously that is something the babies around his age will either be just starting to do or getting ready to do, so each product encouraged baby to walk or supported them in their first steps in some way.
Every product in the box was of very high quality and either has or will be used.
The pull along dog toy has been played with a lot, and I love the top - Tyne has already worn it a few times and it washes so well.
The Almondella subscription service is priced at 45 Euro's per month (£35.88) for 12 months, or 53 Euros per month for 3 months.
If you don't want to make such a commitement, Almondella offer a trial box for just 15 Euro.
