Our family usually gathers for some food trips, travel goals, and just for the sake of fun times during free weekends and holidays. And since some of our cousins had the opportunity to learn the sport of bowling, it was not that long that the clan joined in for the fun.
We usually do it at their Q-Plaza branch here at Cainta, Rizal just across Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall with its neighbors Robinsons Metro East and Ayala Mall Feliz.

Since we are a lot, what we usually do is create different "balanced" teams assigned on specific lanes and compete for the highest team scores. Well, we try to spread out the skilled ones with the amateurs but sometimes the so-called "amateurs" outscores the skilled players (haha!) which make the game more interesting.

And to add excitement to that, our uncles and aunts usually sponsor the cash prizes for the winning teams! In most cases, you'll end up going home with some extra cash if you are with the 1st placers. While on the other hand, you'll need to pay up partially for the playing fee since your consolation cash prizes can be deducted to your total bill.. well, that goes for the other teams in the bottom of the standings (lol).

What makes the game nice is that you can enjoy it even if you are a beginner. Though given that there are specific techniques to develop your own playing style, it does not discount your own way of scoring since things happen when you play it. You can even pull a strike even when your thrown ball is going slow or awkwardly rolling through the lane.. As long as you hit your mark and pins go down, you'll make it through (haha!).
The exciting interactions here happen when you guys celebrate every turn especially when you do a strike or a spare. Here is an actual video of our family enjoying the sport inside AMF-Puyat Sports.
