To continue from my previous post, We stopped at a chip shop on the way back to the coach. The chips were fantastic, just what we needed after a long day walking around and the chip shop made us giggle too!
We also bought some presents on our way back. Jodie bought some tulips. As a horticulturist, she was extremely excited by the massive amount of tulip bulbs that were on sale but she finally decided on these - aren't they cute?! Being the boring person I am, I only bought some sweets from a Dutch sweet shop, Jamin, and some wooden tulips for my mom. I had bought her some the last time I went so she has a little collection of them, now.
We then caught the coach back to the ferry. After a long day, all four of us slept for most of the journey. We had the same cabins for both ways on the journey, which was pretty handy. We played card games all evening and as we are all clearly getting on, it was an early night for all of us. Before we knew it, we had arrived back in England and were queuing to get through the passport control. Surprise, surprise, we were right at the back. There's no rushing us in the mornings. I have kept my tickets and bits and bobs from the trip, to go into my memory box with my other trinkets. How exciting!
