This is what happens when I have a few minutes to spare at the end of my lunch break. I start ogling kitchens. I don’t know what my great fascination with beautiful kitchens is, maybe it is because mine is so small and cramped, all I can do is dream over great big center islands and American sized fridges! I found this amazing renovation project on Kitchin website. Look at the “before”.
And this is what became of it! Isn’t it beautiful? I am a sucker for chandeliers (I would have them in every room, even the bathroom!) but isn’t the combination of the wide open space with the large windows, old beams and yes, those chandeliers, just so glamorous yet inviting? This is exactly the type of family kitchen I dream of having. It even opens outside to an additional outdoor area, all ready for summer evening barbeques and it even has a wood burning pizza oven! Simply divine. I’m not sure how useful outdoor cooking areas would be in our (lot of the time) cold and rainy London, but for those months of the year when we can expect at least a reasonable amount of sunshine, I would never leave! Even all the accessories seem so perfect and well thought out. *Sigh*.
