A 161 lb pumpkin grown by Ray…a beauty for the awful growing year that we experienced here on the coast!!
Second runner up was Don with a 116.5 lber
Third place went to our own Ashton Lambeth (his parents are my bosses) with a 96 lb apple shaped monster :)
Those were the three winners and only entries in the adult category, the weather didn’t cooperate as well as we hoped, though it was dry until after the contest. It is always good when everyone wins a prize though right?
In the kids category we had three entries as well and three winners, first place was Maura coming in at 18 lbs…the pumpkin I mean :)
Second place was Shaylee, weighing in at 16.5 lbs
And last but not least…Bryanna at 7 lbs…Isn’t she cute???

It was a great day!! Happy Halloween and a fabulous fall to everyone!! And to all my Canadian friends, I hope you have a very happy Thanksgiving.
We are cooking a turkey, making some Lemon Meringue pie and having a couple of my girlfriends over to help us enjoy it…I am truly thankful this year for all the blessings in my life, old and new…
