… and Then I Throw My Hands in the Air and Take Off....

Are you a looker or a listener before you leaper? I listen before I leap.

I have seen and heard a variety of people credited as saying, “Leap and the net will appear” and naturally I don’t know a soul alive who hasn’t heard the threatening song of “Look before you leap.” For some reason, I hear that advice in my head the same why I hear Marley calling “SCROOGE!” as  he rattles his chains when he makes his first appearance in 19th Century London in the famous Dickens tale.

Perhaps it is because I wear glasses or perhaps it is because of my relationship with divinity that I favor listening before I leap rather than looking before I leap. Of the daring things I have done, I close my eyes, ask – and listen. I have had verbal nudges many times in my life – call it divinity, call it my highest self, call it the still small voice, all I know is I hear… and then I throw my hands in the air and take off.

Now I am hearing Arielle from Disney’s The Little Mermaid singing in my ear.

Please hear me saying this is not a hallucination of hearing, it is a feeling of hearing.

Have I confused you anymore?

I wonder how many of you have experienced the “feeling” of hearing when it comes from… God or the Universe or the Source or whatever you want to call “it” – have you felt the hearing?

If you haven’t, the next time you have a risk knocking at your door, look out the tiny viewer and then close your eyes and listen. Feel the response.

You will know what to do next.
