Animal Crossing New Horizons: Eggciting News!
Posted on the 17 April 2020 by VioletdaffodilsHello and welcome back to your daily dose of Animal Crossing: New Horizons! I had two days off of playing as the first night it was late and it felt pointless being on when all the shops on the game were closed etc. and yesterday I had a migraine so spent most of my evening asleep.
This evening I was back on it and excitedly so as today I got to see that Spring has finally sprung, with a change of seasons in the form of the arrival of cherry blossom trees and Zipper T. Bunny, who og AC fans will know means that Bunny Day is just around the corner (12th April to be precise!) and an abundance of egg collecting begins, allowing a bit more excitement and additional collecting and crafting to the game for the foreseeable future. Here's what I got up to on tonight's play through:
1. Starting off with the daily announcement from Isabelle, who gifted us a recipe to make a picnic set. Very cute!
2. The pretty cherry blossom trees in full bloom.
3. Slingshot a Bunny Day recipe out of the sky.
4. Let the egg collecting begin! Shaking leaf eggs out of the tree and fishing them out of rivers and the sea.
5. Digging up earth eggs.
6. Visited The Able Sisters for some new threads. Bought these jazzy flower sunglasses in every color.
7. Catching cherry blossom petals.
8. Smashing stone eggs out of the rocks.
9. Today's Nook Mile reward
10. Met Zipper T. Bunny, the mascot of Bunny Day on Animal Crossing. Let the egg hunting commence!
11. Kicks the skunk finally paid a visit to my little town/village to sell his wares. I bought a gumdrop bag.
12. Meanwhile Maggie decided to start singing in the town plaza with Tucker sitting to watch. Cute :3
13. More egg themed crafting added to the repertoire.
14. Sporting my new "Hola" tee. Anyone else trying to collect all these greetings themed t-shirts?
15. Finally caught some new and interesting fish to donate to the Museum! Not a sea bass in sight! Hooray!
16. Today's message in a bottle.
17. Popped into see Flo and acquired a new recipe. Finally something more interesting than a wooden table.
18. More egg discoveries from chopping at trees.
19. Managed to collect each themed egg; earth egg, leaf egg, sky egg, water egg, stone egg and wood egg. Looking forward to seeing what egg themed items can be crafted using each of them.
Until next time! Thanks for reading! & Let me know how you're getting on in your game :)Instagram | Youtube | Bloglovin | Twitter
