Another of my chalk practice-runs.
I used to be pretty good with chalk, but these days im having to ease myself into it starting with some basic drawing, to get used to the feel of the medium; how the colours blend, how to create details & shading etc etc.
I can still work fine with pencils, but chalk is a bit trickier. This drawing is mostly from imagination, using my balcony fence as inspiration and adding in plant life and a sunset coloured backdrop.
This is the first in my recent series of drawings.
